Your candidate will not stop embarrassing himself. He took two million in "secret payments." He was photographed on a 40-million-dollar yacht during the housing crisis. There are 467 leaked messages to a yoga teacher he "barely knows." Election day is five scandals away, and your job is to bury every one of them and win anyway. 

Spin·Doctor! is a satirical political slot machine game. Pull three reels to assemble tomorrow's front-page headline out of pure spin, hold the words that land, and match the tactics the press is weakest to. Then make the only call that matters: stop and publish OR spin once more and risk it blowing up on live TV.

How to play

• Spin the reels to build a headline from PR phrases. Hold the bits you want to keep. 
• Every scandal exposes tactics reporters can't resist: money, sympathy, denial, distraction, patriotism, populism. Match them to multiply your score. 
• A bigger headline buries a bigger story, but spins run out and some phrases backfire. 
• Publish to smother the scandal and lift your approval rating. 
• Between scandals, hire the staff who really run the campaign and promote them into a scandal-burying machine.
